Rule 7.8.15 – Golf Season Proposal – This would start and end the golf season one week earlier to miss less school time. It also places a contest limit on each golfer.

Rule 7.8.9 – Golf Coaching Proposal – This would allow more than one coach per gender to coach on the course during tournaments.

Rule 7.13.1 – Tennis Season Proposal – This would start and end the tennis season one week earlier to miss less school time. It also places a contest limit on each tennis player.

Rule 7.6.15 – Cross Country Season Proposal – This would place a cross country meet limit on each runner.

Rule 7.12.3 & 7.12.71 – Swim Season Proposal – This would balance the number of weeks for the girls and boys swim seasons. It also would place a contest limit on each swimmer.

Rule 7.16.72 – Wrestling Season Proposal – This would require Regional Wrestling to be a one day tournament and must be on Saturday.

Rules 7.10.11 & 7.10.24 – Nordic Ski Season Proposal – This would designate the start and end of the Nordic Ski season and would place a contest limit on each skier.

Rule 7.10.58 – Alpine Ski Season Proposal – This would place a contest limit on each skier.

Rule 7.14.70 – Indoor Track Season Proposal – This would place a contest limit on each track athlete.

Rule 7.14.82 – Indoor Sprint Medley Relay Proposal – This would add an additional relay to the State Indoor Track Meet.

Rule 7.14.20 – Outdoor Track Season Proposal – This would place a contest limit on each track athlete.

Rule 7.14.40 & 41 – Outdoor Sprint Medley Relay Proposal – This would add an additional relay to the State Outdoor Track Meet.

Rule 7.11.36 – Soccer Timing Proposal – This would allow the 4A soccer schools to keep the official time on a clock on the field.

Other Board Action:

Defeated the Wrestling Seeding Criteria proposal.

Defeated the State Swim Meet Proposal to allow each school to enter more than the current four entries per event at the State Meet.

Defeated the Volleyball Season Proposal to require all regular season tournaments to have to be scheduled in the first five weeks of the season.

Defeated the Basketball Season Proposal to limit the number of three day tournaments allowed.

Approved Buffalo’s request to Opt Up to 3A for the 2017 football season.

Directed the Commissioner to take out a reclassification proposal, from the Reclassification Committee, for discussion purposes.

Discussed the feasibility of a contingency plan for weather related issues at State Golf and Tennis.
