Reading Items passed:
4A State Golf Proposal – This establishes qualifying criteria for the 4A State Golf Tournament.
Rule 7.16.71 – Wrestling Regional Tournament Seeding Criteria – This eliminates the current “Returning State Placers at Same Weight” criteria.
Reading Items passed:
This will add Girls Softball as a WHSAA Sport beginning in the spring of 2021.
Rule 4.6.17 & 9.7.2 – Football Officials Fees Proposal – This will increase the pay for varsity regular season contests by $5 per sport beginning next school year.
Rule 7.12.73 – State Swimming and Diving Entry and Placing Proposal – this will allow all swimmers that have met the qualifying standard to participate and place at the State Meet. Currently, each school may only enter four athletes per event, even if they have more than four that have met the qualifying standard.
Rule 7.11.3 – Soccer Season Contest Limit Proposal – This would increase the number of regular season contests from 14 to 16. This would assist the 3A schools in filling a schedule by having some non-conference opportunities with 4A schools and reduce some travel. Currently, the 4A schools’ schedules are full.
Rule 5.4.5 – Dead Period Camp Proposal – This is to clarify whether having a camp for the youth of a community, and using high school athletes to assist with the camp, during the two weeks before practice is allowed. This proposal would allow these types of camps to continue.

Approved free registration for any high school age , college age or first year official. This will begin next year.
Approved free officials camps for all officials.
Approved support of the WASA “Priorities for Wyoming Life Ready” document.
Denied Moorcroft’s request to be eligible for the football playoffs in the next reclass cycle. Moorcroft has opted down in football for the next cycle.
Denied Riverside’s request to be eligible for the 6-man playoffs this season. They have opted down in football for our current reclassification cycle.
Approved Rawlins’s request to add Indoor Track for the 2020 season.
Presented the reclassification figures to be used for the 2020-21 – 2021-22 reclassification cycle for all sports.
